Surrounded by stately trees carved out of 625 acres of untouched forest, of which 88% remains preserve, the Bay’s golf course is the only Certified Silver Audubon Signature Sanctuary in Massachusetts. The 18–hole championship course, designed by Brad Faxon and Brad Booth, measures up to 7,000 yards from six sets of distant trees and features perfectly manicured, bent-grass fairways and greens and British-style fescue. More than a million dollars has been invested over the last five years to enhance the course and improve the pace of play.
The parkland course welcomes all levels of players seeking a first-rate golf experience, no matter what the weather. In addition to a variety of tournaments and golf events throughout the spring, summer and fall, the Bay Club’s professional staff organizes several winter golf-school trips and outings for both men and women. With the club’s indoor winter practice facility, golf conditioning classes and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Fitness Assessments at the Sport and Activities Center, golf can be a year-round activity for homeowners at The Preserve.
