The Millicent Library was donated to the town by the family of Millicent Gifford Rogers, the youngest daughter of Abbie Bifford and wealthy industrialist Henry Huttleston Rogers. It was designed by Charles Brigham in the Richardsonian Romanesque style and is the perfect place to read a book while indulging in Fairhaven’s rich history.

Going to the Library is FREE

New Bedford’s own Greg Harper will be at Brewers Garden for a special afternoon gig! All Brewers Garden Events are weather dependent. If it rains, the event is cancelled.

Listen to some great American Folk music in New Bedford this week as performers from all over the country play at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center. There will be 7 sound stages and over 90 arts and crafts vendors in New Bedford’s historical district.

The Unitarian memorial church is a great historical monument of Fairhaven. Constructed in 1904, the church was designed by Boston architect Charles Brigham in a Gothic Revival style. It is 114 feet high, 100 feet long and 53 feet wide! It’s the perfect place to spend the afternoon looking at the architecture.
