The Bell Committee of Fairhaven is inviting the public to watch the removal of the Rogers School bell from the building’s tower. The historic bell will be present to the public for viewing while it is being restored.

The Old Stone Schoolhouse

Visit the Old Stone Schoolhouse, where students from 1828 took lessons and were educated in historical Fairhaven. Tours are free and you’ll learn about a typical school day in a classroom where children from ages four to sixteen would learn together!

It’s a great morning for kids and parents to meet and play games with Ruth and Abbey, two ladies from the 1850’s.
